Born in the loire valley, france, Jean-paul landreau moved to London in 1979 and studied ceramics at harrow school of art. Jean-paul set up his first workshop studio in tregaron ,wales. since 2007, jean-paul moved back to france and restaured an old farm house in the small village of le Vanneau-irleau

the painter and ceramic artist jean-paul landreau has his gallery studio in the heart of the venise verte in the marais poitevin. Situated in the west part of france, two hours north of bordeaux and close to la rochelle and l'ile de re. visiting the workshop gallery will allow you to discover the venise verte rich in varied landscapes linked by many canals of extraordinary beauty and specific wildness unique to this area. many walks and cycling lanes will enchante you, and along the way the visit of historical buildings rich in roman history, and many galleries and artists studios and quaint restaurants along canals will make your stay most enjoyable.
